Terra Xtreme 4200 Environmental

Designed with the environmental remediation industry in mind, the 4240 Environmental is equipped with a number of design alterations specific to this model. Installed in place of upper knives, a power feeder works in combination with 9, 4-edged rotating feeder disks. The power feeder helps to push material through the rotating hammers, ensuring consistency of pulverization and treatment within the processed material. Spray nozzles are fitted as standard, each adjustable from zero output up to 6 gallons per minute for exterior nozzles, and up to 2 gallons per minute for interior nozzles. The spray system features 15 nozzles, with 9 exterior and 6 housed within the interior of the machine. Use of the spray system requires liquid enters the system under pressure, as pumped by a 5 HP centrifugal pump from a water tank, of which the water, chemical, tank and pump are supplied by the user. Thanks to this spray system attachment, the 4240 Environmental will pulverize contaminated soil, while applying one or two soluble chemicals before and/or after the contaminated material is pulverized. Also fitted as standard is the hydraulic baffle implement, capable of directing the
outflow of processed and treated material.

Constructing the trailer, body, “processing plant” or mill-house, and all other main components allows us to address issues pertaining to weight distribution, strength, and vibration reduction. Technical components such as engines, axles, conveyors, hammers, and electronic controls, are sourced from leading manufacturers within their fields. This control over the process makes the Terra XTREME a truly customizable product, which can be tailored to suit many different uses and industries.
